No personal information collected

Nogmi (the "App") is an on-device app that transcribes and summarizes voice recordings entirely on your device. The developer does not access any of your personal information and does not transmit it to external servers. The App uses no analytics, advertising, or tracking tools of any kind.

02Information We Collect

The App does not collect any personally identifiable information, such as your name, email address, account, location, or device identifiers. There is no sign-up or login process.

03Microphone and Audio

• The App requests microphone access in order to record. This permission is enabled only when you grant it yourself.
• Recorded audio files are stored only on your device and are never transmitted to the developer or any third party.

04Speech Recognition, Transcription, and Summarization

Speech recognition (transcription) always runs on your device, and recorded audio is never sent anywhere. AI summaries are on-device by default as well. Only when you explicitly configure a local network server (LM Studio · Ollama) in Settings is the transcript text sent to that server you specified, for summarization. On first use, transcription and summarization models may be downloaded from Apple or open-source distributors; no recording content is transmitted during that process.

05iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud sync, your recordings, transcriptions, and summaries are stored and synced only to your own Apple iCloud account. This data is protected by your Apple account's security, and the developer cannot access it. Data stored in iCloud is additionally subject to the Apple Privacy Policy.

06Third-Party Sharing

The App does not share, sell, or rent any data to third parties. It contains no advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or tracking technologies.

07Data Retention and Deletion

• All data exists only on your device (and, if you choose, in your own iCloud).
• Deleting an individual recording within the App, or deleting the App itself, removes the associated data.
• Data synced to iCloud can be managed and deleted in your Apple account settings.

08Children's Privacy

Because the App does not collect personal information, it does not collect information from any user, including children.

09Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated policy and its effective date will be posted on this page.
