Do transcription and summarization work without an internet connection?
Transcription, handwriting, and Smart Playback are always processed on your device. For summaries, the default Private Cloud Compute engine uses the network, but an on-device engine takes over when it can't be used. Pick Gemma or Apple Intelligence in Settings to summarize fully offline. Model downloads also need a network connection.
My transcription or summary is empty.
The audio may be too short, or microphone access may be turned off. Check the microphone permission in Settings > Nogmi, and make sure the model download has finished.
Where is my recording data stored?
Everything is stored on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, it syncs only to your own iCloud account. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Which devices are supported?
Nogmi supports iPhone, iPad, Mac (Apple Silicon), and Apple Watch, plus a Home Screen widget.
